Posted: Updated:

Two adults and seven kittens survived a house fire overnight in north Tulsa.

Around 12:30 am Monday, a person driving by a home at 1100 N. Harvard noticed smoke and called 9-1-1.

When fire crews arrived, two people had escaped.

Firefighters knocked down the flames quickly and rescued seven tiny kittens from the home.

Crews revived the animals using pet oxygen masks.

Investigators say the cause appears to be electrical.

The Red Cross was called to the scene to help the residents.
