Bristow Man Dead after Overnight Rollover Wreck

A 63-year-old Bristow man is dead after an overnight wreck on State Highway 66 in Creek County.

According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Bobby Wesley was traveling eastbound on Highway 66 at a high rate of speed in a 1994 Chevrolet truck when he lost control of his vehicle.

The vehicle departed the roadway to the right and rolled one full time. OHP reports the driver was ejected 116 feet from the vehicle.

The fatal wreck occurred at 3:35 a.m. The driver was reportedly not wearing a seat belt.

Highway Patrol troopers from Creek County and Tulsa County investigated the incident along with members of the Bristow Police Department, Creek County Sheriff's Office, Creek County EMS and Bristow Fire Department.
