Alleged Moody's Jewelry Thief Captured

A man was arrested around 10:30 p.m. Monday evening after a police officer saw him climbing out of a broken window at Moody's Jewelry located at 1137 South Harvard Avenue.

Christopher Moody, 29, was arrested on second-degree burglary and resisting arrests complaints after a chase.

The officer on scene reportedly found the glass door smashed out and muddy foot prints consistent with Moody's shoes.

Video surveillance also reportedly showed Moody robbing Moody's.

A pickaxe was discovered on scene.

Moody is being held on $11,000 bond.
