Posted: Updated:
Ryan Folmar's Golden Eagles baseball team does it again on Tuesday night.  They upset #9 Oklahoma State 15-8 at J.L. Johnson Stadium.  Oral Roberts has a very good midweek record.  They are 7-2 when playing on Tuesday or Wednesday this season.  Two of those wins came against in-state rival Oklahoma and against regional rivals Wichita State and Missouri State.

Tuesday's win over the Cowboys is there fourth against a Big 12 opponent this year.

The score was tied at one after the first inning.  Then in the second ORU put up 5-runs to take a 6-1 lead.  But the Cowboys bats came alive in the fifth and the sixth as they score four and three runs respectively.

ORU answered in the bottom of the fifth with five runs of their own to take an 11-8 lead.  They put up four more in the seventh and win 15-8.

13 different pitchers were used between both teams.

Oral Roberts improves to 28-18, while Oklahoma State drops to 29-12.  The Golden Eagles return to the field this weekend as they begin a three game set with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.  The Cowboys travel to Austin to face 10th-ranked Texas.
