KD, Thunder Say There Is No Pressure

Posted: Updated:
Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder will try to take a 2-1 lead in their playoff series with Memphis tonight at the FedEx Forum.  OKC is the 2nd-seed in the Western Conference and lost home court advantage Monday when they got beat by the Grizzlies 111-105.  Oklahoma City can take back the home court with a win Thursday night.

When asked this morning about the pressure to win KD said there really isn't any pressure.

"No pressure.  We're just going to go out there and play our game.  Pressure from who? The outside world? We don't pay an attention to that.  Because they will build you up and break you down in the same day.  We don't try to worry about that and just play our game."

Oklahoma City Thunder Head Coach Scott Brooks added this, "If you put more importance on one game what's the importance of playing the game?  Every game is important.  We want to win this game.  And we want to win game four.  That's just how the mentality of our team is made up."

Game 3 of the first round series between the Thunder and the Grizzlies is Thursday night in Memphis.  Tip-off is set for 7:00pm.
