Showers and storms will develop in Western Oklahoma later this evening and then push towards Eastern Oklahoma late tonight into early Sunday morning. These storms will be weakening with time, so the overall severe weather threat is limited Sunday morning.
Isolated severe storms will develop Sunday afternoon and evening for areas east of Tulsa, especially along the Oklahoma and Arkansas state line. The highest threat for severe weather for Sunday afternoon will be in Western Arkansas.
Much cooler air moves in next week, which will keep thunderstorm chances low through the extended.
