Many came out in support of the Food Truck Festival in Jenks Saturday afternoon. A dozen food trucks from across the region lined downtown Jenks with a variety of dishes available for an outdoor treat.
They also enjoyed live entertainment from local music artists and art from local visual artists.
According to Teri Fermo with Bohemia Moveable Feast Caterers, people come out due to "the variety, being outdoors and...the gamble in it. You can walk up to a food truck and get something really really good or something really really bad."
Fermo also explained how "with a food truck most of the time you are dealing with the owner, the operator. You don't do that in a restaurant."
Evangelist Franklin Graham prayed on a sidewalk outside the Pentagon Thursday after his invitation to a prayer service inside was withdrawn because of comments that insulted people of other religions. More>>
