Tulsa Police have arrested 22-year-old, Fue Xiong as a suspect in a parking lot shooting at Motel 6 in South Tulsa.

Police arrived on scene, Sunday morning, after getting a call about shots fired and found a 20 to 30-year-old male dead in the parking lot near his SUV. "At this time we are kind of vague on why this person ends up at the motel. he is not registered there," said Sgt. David Walker with the Tulsa Police Department.

Sgt. Walker said the victim went to the motel in his SUV and then there was some sort of fight that led to the shooting.

They are questioning Xiong at this time and will have more details later, according to Sgt. Walker.

The victim was identified as Terrance Jerome Valentine. He was 26-years-old.

This was the 15th homicide of the year in Tulsa.
