Suspect Arrested after Church Break-In

A 24-year-old black male was observed kicking out the door of a church by a passerby who called police late Monday night.

The church that was broken into was Grace Point Church located at 11th and Louisville.

Police were nearby and responded, finding that the place had been broken into. They called out a K9 who went in and found the subject. The suspect received a bite from the K9 officer and was taken to the hospital to be treated.

The suspect will be facing breaking and entering charges. He is a homeless man known to Tulsa Police Department for causing issues at the local QuikTrip's. Police say he was likely intoxicated at the time of this incident and have not yet issued his name.
