Record High Possible Tuesday, Fire Danger Continues

Posted: Updated:

The record high for Tuesday is 93, and with help from strong south winds and plenty of sun, we will get close.

Expect fire danger to once again be high today and the next few days; increasing humidity though will help keep the worst of it west of the area.

By Thursday, a system makes its way into Oklahoma, sparking off showers and storms. Some of these by nightfall Thursday could be strong to severe, something we're watching very carefully.

Slight chances of storms stay with us into the weekend.

Today: Sun, a few clouds, windy and hot. Winds: S 15-30 mph. High: 91.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, windy and warm. Winds: S 15-20 mph. Low: 69.
