B.A. Police: Suspect Drove Drunk with Child in Vehicle

Posted: Updated:

Broken Arrow police arrested a 31-year-old B.A. woman Sunday around 8 p.m. after a motor vehicle accident. The suspect was allegedly driving drunk with a 5-year-old in the vehicle.

The collision was between the suspect's Chevy Impala and a motorcycle near 1601 South Elm Place in Broken Arrow.

A BAPD officer reported smelling an odor of alcohol on the suspect, Joshualin Wade, who said she had two alcoholic beverages before heading home.

Wade's 5-year-old daughter was in the backseat during the collision.

Wade consented to DUI test and was arrested afterward on complaints of child endangerment and driving under the influence. She also reportedly said she might have some marijuana in her pocket when police asked her if she had anything illegal on her.

Her bond is set at $28,500.
