The victim has been identified in a deadly accident in south Tulsa Thursday afternoon.

Garry Allen Domres, 55, was pronounced dead at the scene after a collision involving a bicycle and a car.

The accident took place near 8500 S. Riverside Drive. Witnesses told police the bicyclist was riding along the grass when he darted into traffic.

A 16-year-old struck the man with his car. Police say the driver was driving below the speed limit when colliding with the bicyclist.

In an EMSA report, with the warm weather, more accidents can be expected. Paramedics respond to more than 120 bicycle accidents per year.
