There is a slight chance for thunderstorms Saturday afternoon, but if a storm develops, there will be a chance for severe weather. It will be one of those days that if something does pop, then we could be dealing with a severe weather outbreak, in our area. Right now, the tornado threat looks low, but not completely out of the question. A lot of variables have to come together for this to occur. So, go about your day Saturday and just be aware of the potential. This is for all areas along and north of Interstate 40.
Again, this chance for rain and storms is only about 30%. But, if they develop the severe weather risk is there. It's just that time of year when things can get a little out of hand rather quickly.
