JMR Graphics Responds to an Article Discussing the New Art Everywhere Campaign Being Launched This Summer

Posted: Updated:

Nationwide car wraps manufacturer JMR Graphics comments on an article discussing how Richard Reed’s ‘Art Everywhere’ campaign can be seen in Times Square, on Route 66, and on Sunset Boulevard

Bohemia, NY / myprgenie.com / ACCESSWIRE / May 10, 2014 / JMR Graphics, a nationwide car wraps manufacturer, comments on an article discussing how a majority of ads on billboards, bus stops, and subway platforms in chosen U.S. landmarks will be replaced with fine art during the Art Everywhere campaign.

According to an April 15th article from PolicyMic titled, “Outdoor Advertisements Across the U.S. Will Soon Be Replaced With Fine Art,” the Art Everywhere campaign, a project created by Richard Reed, has the initiative to flood streets with fine art and celebrate the talent and legacy of featured artists. Last summer, Art Everywhere launched in the UK and was a huge success. 90% of UK adults had viewed at least one work of art due to this project.

Art Everywhere will be launched in the United States in August 2014. Five of the most important art museums in the U.S. have selected 100 works of art altogether that may be displayed. The public will vote to narrow it down to 50 pieces. The purpose of this initiative is to give citizens a creative mental break from all the advertisements our minds are used to seeing on a daily basis.

TJ Panell, a representative from nationwide car wraps manufacturer JMR Graphics, says, “Just as the ads in these iconic places have had a major impression on locals and tourists, passer bys will have the opportunity to be exposed to art they would not have had encounters with otherwise.”
