Arkansas Man Arrested After Police Chase, Stabbing Tulsa Activist

A wanted Arkansas man is behind bars after leading Tulsa police on a chase and stabbing one man Thursday.

A community activist who works to reduce crime in Tulsa found himself the victim of violent crime.

"And here I am standing there bleeding profusely where the guy has literally tried to stab me," Paul Dunn, president of the Tulsa Community Action group, said.

Police chased the Arkansas suspect through residential areas of south Tulsa, when the he came face to face with Dunn.

Dunn was stabbed in the hand and the suspect went on to carjack a woman.

The suspect drove through fences, dumpsters and struck vehicles.

"If you're out there, you better become conscious and cognizant of your surroundings," Dunn said, "I mean, I don't know what's going on here, but something's happening."

The suspect was booked into Tulsa County Jail on multiple counts, including assault with a deadly weapon, robbery by force or fear and false impersonation. He is being held without bond.
