A vacant home suffered major damage after a house fire shortly before 10:30 p.m. Thursday night.
Firefighters arrived on scene on the 1500 block of North Atlanta Court and found the home to be heavily involved in fire.
The fire was located in the rear of the home and was heavily filled with smoke.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire rather quickly and found nobody inside the home.
Neighbors reported to firefighters that they saw two people running from the home at the time of the fire, but firefighters believe the home to be vacant. The people who allegedly ran from the home could be homeless people, firefighters said.
Firefighters believe the fire may be a case of arson.
