Posted: Updated:

Authorities have canceled an Amber Alert after two Cherokee County children were found safe.

Tye Mouse, 3, and Aiden Mouse, 15-months-old, were taken by force from their grandparent by their father and mother, who do not have custody of the children, according to the Amber Alert bulletin.

The parents of the children were taken into custody in Mannford on complaints of kidnapping. They are booked into Cherokee County Jail. The grandparents of the children are granted custody and the children are now back safe with the grandparents.

The Amber Alert was issued around 11 p.m. and canceled about 90 minutes later. Officials with the Cherokee County Sheriff's office say the children were found safe.
