Informational Meetings on Bond Projects to be Held in Broken Arrow

The City of Broken Arrow is asking for community input regarding several bond projects which will be put up to vote.

Among the issues in the proposed general obligation bond program are new street, repairs on existing streets, new equipment and facilities to improve public safety, a new dog park and enhancements to existing parks.

Authorities say the bond programs will not increase the tax rates on citizens as they are structured in a way so that the millage will be unchanged.

The election date for these issues is August 26.

There will be five information meetings, starting today, regarding the bond programs in Broken Arrow. Here are the locations:
