Arrest Made in Connection to February Fatal Auto-Pedestrian Wreck

Tulsa Police have arrested a 42-year-old man in connection with a fatal hit-and-run auto-pedestrian accident February 25 that killed a 57-year-old woman.

The incident took place at the intersection of 3rd and Lewis. Fernando Jaramillo was booked on a complaint of first-degree manslaughter, among others.

The woman, identified as Angela Marie Young, was pronounced dead on scene after sustaining severe injuries from the accident.

The Tulsa Police Department received an anonymous tip from a female who had information regarding the suspected vehicle, a white van.

TPD made contact with the alleged owner of the suspected vehicle, Jaramillo.

The van was located inside a shed covered with a tarp and surrounded by sheet metal, the report states.
