Posted: Updated:
The Tulsa Shock made their 2014 home debut Friday night at the BOK Center against the defending WNBA Champion Minnesota.  The Lynx jumped out to a big lead early behind the hot shooting of star forward Mia Moore.  She finished with a game-high 38 points.

The Shock continued to fight and took the led late in the fourth quarter and had a shot to win at the buzzer, but Minnesota wins 94-93.

Tulsa was paced by point guard Skylar Diggins with 21 points.  Seven Shock players score in double figures.  New first round draft pick Odyssey Sims added 13, Glory Johnson and Jordan Hooper had 11.  Riquna Williams, Courtney Paris and Roneeka Hodges finished with 10.

The Shock travel back to San Antonio next Wednesday to face the Stars.
