Lockdown Lifted at Edison High School After Alleged Bomb Threat

An all-clear was given at Edison High School Wednesday morning after a reported bomb threat was made over Twitter.

Police discovered the threat on Twitter made towards the school and notified Tulsa Public Schools administration. EHS is located in midtown near 41st and Harvard.

A spokesperson with TPS told KTUL that the threat indicated that a bomb was set to detonate before 9:30 a.m. Officers responded to the campus and began a search through the building.

Students were not evacuated at the time of the incident. No bomb was found during the search and operations returned to normal.

Police will investigate the threat and attempt to locate the individual that posted the message on Twitter.
