Voter Registration Deadline Approaching for June Primary Election

Posted: Updated:

Oklahoma voters should register to vote by the end of this week in order to take part in next month's primary election.

Officials with the Oklahoma State Election Board sent out an advisory this week to remind potential voters about the May 30 deadline. This is in order for residents to participate in the June 24 primary election.

Some of the officers Oklahomans will decide on in the primary election include state superintendent, U.S senator and governor, according to a sample ballot. Registered voters can view the ballot and locate their polling place online.

Registration forms are available at county election boards, post offices and tag agencies. Residents can even fill out forms at their local libraries.

Early voting begins June 19.
