Rain Postpones Drillers For Second-Straight Day

Posted: Updated:

The Tulsa Drillers scheduled doubleheader Wednesday afternoon with the Frisco RoughRiders was postponed due to wet conditions at ONEOK Field. The heavy rains from Sunday and Monday saturated a portion of the infield, and the area could not be dried sufficiently for play.

The two teams will now play a doubleheader on Thursday, with game one starting at 4:05PM. The second game will have a scheduled starting time of 7:05PM, and both games will be scheduled for seven innings. Only one ticket will be required for admission to both games.

Since the two teams are only scheduled to play each other on one more day, the three-game series will now be reduced to two games. Tulsa and Frisco will only play 69 games in the first half of the season.

Fans who had tickets to the rained out game may exchange them for like tickets to any other 2014 regular season game at ONEOK Field, based on availability.
