CHRISTIAN RAP ARTIST ROCKS OUT NEW ALBUM

Posted: Updated:

When a UK film director was approached about making a music video for a Hertfordshire-based rap artist, he expected your typical gospel track – safe and sweet. Until he heard Kudzai Max’s track “Time Will Tell”, did he realize Christian music was going to another level. Offering a palatable serving of rap, hip-hop with wholesome and uplifting lyrics – Marco jumped at the opportunity.

‘Rock Heavy’, ‘War-Games’ and ‘Hard to the Core’ are just few of the words in the song lyrics describing the artist’s difficult journey in life, as well as breaking into the music industry. The music video depicts rock chicks that aren’t afraid to stand for what they believe in – to inspire hope in today’s challenging world. Edgy, street, and bold… it’s anything but safe!

Marco Torrens, said “I’ve never really been a rap fan and certainly never expected Christian rap to make such a statement. It truly was the most exciting piece of work I’ve done to date. Kudzai is a talented artist and it was a pleasure working with someone of her caliber.”

Marco is an up and coming film director whose career began as a theatre actor in South Africa. After appearing in a couple of feature films, he ventured into documentary film-making where he produced a UK lifestyle programme which was offered to South African television for distribution.

Kudzai Max’s single is an independent release due to be out in the Summer.
