A second man was arrested overnight in the case of the 14-year-old shot on the Gilcrease Expressway earlier this week.
Demonte Rushing, 21, turned himself in at the Police Station was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on complaints of first degree murder and attempted robbery.
The arrest was made a few hours after police announced they had arrested David Ruble, 19, on a murder complaint as well.
April Montano died Thursday after being shot in the head while riding in her family’s truck traveling on the Gilcrease Expressway.
Police say they think robbery was a motive in shooting.
“The family was targeted because they were in possession of ATVs that Ruble and others wanted,” Sgt. Dave Walker said in a press release.
