Tulsa Tough Races Begin Friday

The ninth-annual Tulsa Tough cycling event get underway Friday in downtown Tulsa.

The three-day cycling event in downtown Tulsa and Tulsa River Parks includes criterium races for both amateurs and professionals sanctioned by USA Cycling. The event typically draws hundreds of spectators, as they gather to watch some of the best cyclists in the country push their limits.

The McNellie's Group Blue Dome criterium will be held Friday evening. It will be held in the area of 2nd Street and Elgin Avenue. Saturday morning, the George Kaiser Family Foundation Brady Arts District criterium will begin in the area of Brady Street and Boston Avenue. The New Medio River Parks criterium will get underway Sunday morning at 15th and Riverside.

There are also non-competitive rides during Tulsa Tough.
