Texas Author Releases Compilation of Childrens Book Series

“The Mac The Fire Truck Collection”
Author Trey Watson releases compilation book of the Adventures of Mac The Fire Truck series of children’s books.

Texas-based author Trey Watson recently released a six book compilation of children stories on Kindle. The stories, from his Amazon best-selling children’s picture book series The Adventure of Mac The Fire Truck, are available as either an ebook for Kindle or Nook, or as a print book available from Amazon.com. Watson said his stories were inspired by his young son’s love of fire trucks.

“I’ve probably told a couple thousand Mac The Fire Truck stories over the last 4 years,” Watson said. “My son is almost 6 and he still loves them, though they’ve taken on many more characters than are present in the books.”

The Adventures of Mac The Fire Truck series is published in seven books, including a Christmas-themed adventure. All are available for Kindle or as print books. The second book in the series, Mac The Fire Truck and The Big Rig Fire, was one of the top downloaded books on Amazon Kindle during a free promotion period in 2011. It was one of the first children’s books to break the top 100 downloads on Amazon.

The compilation book, entitled The Mac The Fire Truck Collection, includes six of the seven books and is illustrated with dozens of fun fire truck illustrations. The book is available on Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KP5VW0M and is currently $8.99 as a Kindle download.
