Thursday Bringing A Few Showers & Rumbles

Posted: Updated:

Felt nice to see the sun out there this morning, didn't it? We woke up with lower temperatures this Wednesday too, with many of our Northern areas (Bartlesville, Coffeyville- we're talking about you!) in the lower 50s. The humidity will not be as high today either, meaning a more comfortable afternoon.

All attention turns on tonight through tomorrow, when a pretty powerful front moves through. Because of the swift nature of the system, we're expecting winds to be the main severe threat. Timing? Tulsa and NW portions of Green Country overnight, then SE OK and AR for most of the day Thursday.

After this system passes, expect highs this weekend to climb back up into the 80s-- 90s by next week! Don't forget the sunscreen if you're headed out too; it feels like it's been forever since lake and pool weather!
