20-Year-Old Ada Man Dead after Saturday Crash

A 20-year-old from Ada died after wrecking his 2006 Ford pickup Saturday afternoon.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the collision happened 13 miles west of Ada on County Road 3470 just after 5 p.m. OHP reported that the vehicle was heading northbound, topped a hill, then met another vehicle that was heading southbound.

The pickup, driven by Brandon Hatton, then departed the roadway and rolled an unknown amount of times. The driver was ejected approximately 28 feet from the vehicle, OHP reports.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead on scene. OHP reports the driver was traveling at an unsafe speed.
