Two Arrested in Sunday Walgreens Armed Robbery

Posted: Updated:

Tulsa Police have arrested two suspects following an armed robbery at Walgreens at 51st and Lewis at 1:40 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

Police executed a narcotics search warrant on the 6300 block of South Owasso Avenue Tuesday afternoon at the residence of Justin Donaldson.

Police reported finding pills packaged for resale inside the residence. Donaldson then allegedly admitted to police the pills were taken from the armed robbery at Walgreens on Sunday. He then told police he had made $1,000 from the pills since Sunday, the police report states. He was arrested for robbery with a firearm and possession of controlled drug with intent.

Donaldson reportedly told police the name of another suspect involved in the robbery. That additional suspect, Chadrick Cullom, was located and arrested for robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Police initially said two black male suspects entered the Walgreens, one of which reportedly had a semi-automatic gun. The suspects demanded pills from the pharmacy, and after receiving the pills, left the store on foot. A white male was said to be outside the store as a lookout.

Police are still looking for the third suspect, described as a black male.

Officer Fadem with the Tulsa Police Department said the TPD was able to set up a perimeter in the surrounding area shortly after the report of the robbery. Police were unable to locate the suspects, but did find pill bottles they believe to be connected to the robbery.

The bottles were found in the street at 6500 South Lewis.
