Mary Anne’s Chocolate Lovers’ Dessert

Ever need a super easy dessert that goes together very quickly and yet it tastes like you spent hours making it? Well, look no more. Your family will love how luscious it tastes and you will love how easy it is to make.

3 cups cold whole milk

1 package (3.4 ounces) instant chocolate fudge or white chocolate pudding

1 package (3.4 ounces) instant French vanilla pudding

2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped to heavy peaks


1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 1/2 cups toasted pecans or almonds, finely ground, optional

1 package (14.4 ounces) graham crackers, regular or chocolate

1 container (16 ounces) chocolate frosting

  • In a 9x13-inch baking dish, layer one- third of the graham crackers. Set aside briefly.
  • In a large bowl, whisk by hand milk and pudding mixes for approximately two minutes. Gently fold in whipped cream or topping.
  • Spoon half of the pudding mixture over graham crackers. Sprinkle with half of nuts, if using. Repeat layers. Top with remaining graham crackers. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Place chocolate frosting into a microwave-safe bowl. Cover with paper towel and microwave on high for about 15-20 seconds, or until softened. Stir once. Spread over graham crackers. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes or until frosting is set.

Makes approximately 15-20 servings.

Note: You can substitute a can of cherry pie filling for the chocolate frosting. Spoon pie filling into blender and blend on high for about 30 seconds. Pour over dessert and refrigerate. Cherry pie filling is perfect with instant cheese cake pudding or instant vanilla pudding.
