Posted: Updated:

The City of Broken Arrow, FEMA and Oklahoma Water Resources Board are making a new drainage study and FEMA floodplain mapping for the Broken Arrow Creek watershed, which hasn't been looked at in detail since the 1970s.

Property owners in Broken Arrow will get the chance to see these new preliminary floodplain revisions June 25th at the Flood Risk Review Meeting.

The meeting will have information on the overall remapping process and will give affected property owners the chance to talk to the engineers and mapping professionals behind the study.

That meeting will be held in the Annex meeting room at Northeastern University 3100 E. New Orleans Street from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m..
