8th Sexual Assault Reported in Tulsa

Posted: Updated:

Tulsa police report that the sexual assault suspect rampant in Tulsa has struck again.

Police say he sexually assaulted a woman in her 60s. The suspect's reported actions and statements during the assault were consistent with the serial assault suspect.

The incident occurred at 5:30 a.m. today in the area of 1200 South 75th East Avenue. The woman was home alone.

In low light conditions, the suspect was described as a light-skinned black male about 5'8" with a thin build, muscular arms, no facial hair and short hair. During the incident the suspect was wearing long basketball style shorts, a t-shirt and tennis shoes. The victim said his face was partially covered.

On Friday, police released a composite sketch of the suspect, and described him as a dirty white male. The composite sketch is not expected to be exact, police say.

This is the eighth sexual assault tied to the same suspect, police believe.

Anyone with information that could help the police locate the suspect is asked to call 918-596-COPS. If you see any suspicious activity or have immediate suspect information, call 911.
