GM Recalls Additional 7.6 Million Cars

Posted: Updated:

General Motors announced it’s recalling an additional 7.6 million vehicles.

The recall includes models from 1997 to 2014.

Most of the recalls were for a faulty ignition switch.

Among these recalled vehicles, GM is aware of seven crashes, eight injuries and three fatalities. The fatal crashes occurred in older model full-size sedans being recalled for the ignition switch problem, according to a GM press release.
