Blue Sky Services Receives Rezoning Approval For New Commercial Real Estate Development

Posted: Updated:

Blue Sky Services has been leading the way in the mixed commercial and residential real estate development of key areas of Raleigh, and have just received approval to move forward.

Raleigh, NC, United States of America – July 2, 2014 /MarketersMedia/ –

Blue Sky Services has been instrumental in several developments throughout Raleigh in recent years, and has been contracted by Trellis Enterprises, LLC to provide a broad spectrum of construction services for their latest rezoning project. The rezoning has recently been put up for approval, and pertains to the southeast intersection of Friendly Drive and Hillsborough Street, to create mixed commercial and residential developments.

After a 30 day grace period to allow the Citizens Advisory Council (CAC) an opportunity to comment on the case, the Wade CAC voted overwhelmingly in favor of the request. After a presentation by chief planner Travis Crane, the consistency of the plan with future land use and urban form was unquestionable, and with the addition that 25% of the units would be something other than 4 bedrooms, the motion passed with the approval of all members in attendance (See Ordinance 313 ZC 699 for details).

This is fantastic news for Blue Sky, the the leading light in Raleigh Commercial Real Estate Development, as they can now proceed with work on behalf of Trellis Enterprises LLC and bring their unique vision, sustainable practices and three decades of experience to bear on this exciting new development.

A spokesperson for Blue Sky Services explained, “We are pleased to be able to proceed with the support of the local council and the members of the Wade CAC who have been overwhelmingly supportive of the project and have also provided valuable insight as to how we can enable the project to best serve the community it is being designed to support. This endorsement allows us to progress full steam ahead with the development, and will bring our commitment to service, quality and professionalism to a cutting edge development that will increase the prospects of the entire area.”
