DALLAS, July 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Just in time for July 4th, Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, Inc., the nation's largest barbecue chain, is introducing a new line of proprietary potato chips with the motto "Eat chips. "I'm so proud of our new chips," said Roland Dickey, Jr., president and CEO of Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. "They are an exciting new menu offering that allows our guests the ability to directly  affect the lives of returning veterans around the country."

The chips will arrive in select test locations on July 14 and will roll out nationwide in September.  Dickey's masterfully crafted and bold new potato chips come in three flavors -- Original, Barbecue and Jalapeno Cheddar.

  • Original – Thin cut potato chips with a simple, traditional flavor that pairs perfectly with slow smoked barbecue.
  • Barbecue – Flavored with the same special blend of spices used in Dickey's famous barbecue sauce that has been passed down for generations.
  • Jalapeno Cheddar – For those who like a bold kick of spice, fresh jalapeno flavor with a tangy cheddar finish.
