Posted: Updated:

Authorities in Adair County are still searching for an individual this weekend accused of shooting a woman and arson.

Deputies with the Adair County Sheriff's Office were initially notified about the shooting Friday evening in the Price Mountain area. Adair County is located east of Tulsa.

Initial details state that an unidentified woman was shot and her residence was set on fire. Firefighters with the Stilwell, Tri-Community and Mid-County Fire Departments worked to get the blaze under control.

Officials with the ACSO believe that Benjamin Wade Wilson is a suspect in Friday's incidents. Twenty-seven-year-old Wilson is described as being a white male, 5 foot 8 inches in height and 160 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Wilson is also reported to have several tattoos on his body, including a flag on his right shoulder and a green clover on his left upper arm. He is a convicted felon and considered "armed and very dangerous."

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should contact the ACSO at (918) 696-2106. Officials added that anyone that comes into contact with Wilson should not try and apprehend him.
