Man Shot to Death in LeFlore County

A LeFlore County man was killed in a shooting early Wednesday morning.

Randy Shelton, 53, was found dead in his house in the Monroe area just before 4 a.m.

He had gunshot wounds to his torso and was pronounced dead at the scene, LeFlore County Sheriff Rob Seale wrote on the Sheriff’s Facebook page.

Deputies arrested Richard Roland Humphries, 48, on a first degree murder complaint.

Humphries is being held without bond in the LeFlore County Detention Center.
