Detectives Identify Woman's Body Found at Catoosa Recycling Plant

Oklahoma authorities have identified a woman's body found at a Catoosa recycling plant earlier this week.

Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation stated that the woman, identified as Bobbie Cole, was found dead at the National Waste Disposal Facility June 7. The plant is located in Catoosa on North 170th East Avenue.

Officials with the Catoosa Police Department were originally called onto the scene. Cole's body was discovered "badly decomposed."

"The body has been transported to the medical examiner's office in Tulsa for identification and determination of cause and manner of death," according to a news release that was provided by OSBI.

Records at the Oklahoma Department of Corrections state that Cole was previously convicted for drug charges. They included possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled drug in the presence of a child.
