Suspect Sought in Attempted Porch Theft

Posted: Updated:

Investigators with the Tulsa Police Department are asking for assistance in identifying a suspect in an attempted porch theft in June.

According to the Tulsa Police Department's Facebook page, investigators say the suspect was removing items from a front porch in the area of 3500 S. Louisville on June 22 when she noticed a red light from the surveillance camera, dropped the items and fled the scene.

The incident occurred overnight a little after 3:30 a.m.

There has been an increase in reported thefts of patio furniture lately, but this suspect is not yet being tied to crimes other than this one, investigators say.

The suspect was described as a 5'5" to 5'8" white female between 20 and 30-years-old.

TPD asks you to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS if you have info regarding the suspect.
