Investigators are looking to determine what caused a house fire in north Tulsa early Wednesday morning.

Crews were dispatched around 1 a.m. to the 1800 block of Young Street for a fire at a residence. This is near Apache and Lewis.

Officials at the scene told KTUL that large flames and smoke were seen coming from the back of the house. Crews had some difficulty getting inside the residence after fighting to open the front door.

Flames were coming across the ceiling above the firefighters. The residence was heavily damaged from the incident, but no injuries were reported.

Officials will attempt to determine what caused the fire this week. No other details were provided.
