Tulsa County Sheriff Breaks Ground on New Training Center
A groundbreaking ceremony was held Friday morning for the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office new training center.
Officials were joined by various Tulsa leaders during the ceremony for the facility named the Sheriff Stanley Glanz Law Enforcement Training Center that will be located at 6094 East 66th Street North in Tulsa.
According to information provided by the TCSO, the training center will house a proposed regional dispatch center, a law enforcement driver training track and skid pad and a range house with a state-of-the-art shooting simulator. There will also be living quarters, complete with a kitchen and many more amenities.
Existing facilities on the property include a 35 station standard CLEET (Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training) pistol range with control tower, a pop-up target pistol range, a rifle range and a 3,500 square foot tactical entry training building.
