Tulsa police say two are dead and two are in critical condition following a wreck just after 11 p.m. Saturday night near 21st Street and Highway 169.

Police say the two vehicles involved were heading westbound on 21st street when the suspect vehicle, a Tahoe, ran a red light at a high rate of speed, struck the victim vehicle from behind, causing the victim vehicle to spin into a light pole.

Four of the five occupants in the victim vehicle were ejected, and one 16-year-old female and one 12-year-old child were pronounced dead from the injuries suffered. They were sisters. Police initially stated a 28-year-old died, but they have since corrected that information, and said there was a lot of chaos at the scene.

Two other children, a one-year-old and a 16-year-old in the victim vehicle were transported to a hospital in critical condition. An adult male in the victim vehicle was unharmed.

A female in the suspect vehicle was arrested on a complaint of driving under the influence and two complaints of manslaughter. She was identified as Christina Cantrell, 38. She had slurred speech an bloodshot eyes, the police report states. She had been due to appear in court on Wednesday on charges of not wearing a seat belt, driving with a suspended or revoked license and speeding. She's being held on over $100,000 bond.

Police say a male passenger in the suspect vehicle fled the scene on foot.
