Deadly Crash Shuts Down Highway 75 in West Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. - Northbound lanes of Highway 75 were closed at the beginning of the morning rush hour early Friday after a deadly crash hours earlier.

Drivers were being detoured at the 41st street exit.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Tulsa Police say a 27-year-old man was thrown from his pickup truck when he went off the road, crashed into a guardrail and rolled down an embankment.

The accident happened just after 12:45 a.m. north of 41st street.

Witnesses at the scene told police they saw the truck speeding and driving erratically just before the crash.

Investigators haven't released the victim's name but say he is from the Tulsa metropolitan area.
