Authorities have arrested a person of interest that might be connected to a child rape in 2013 and an attempted abduction, earlier this year. The U.S. Marshall, FBI, Tulsa Police Department and Glenpool Police Department worked together on this case. The suspect was initially arrested in July on unrelated charges and no charges have been filed in the 2013 child rape case just yet.

Glenpool Police say it is an ongoing investigation.

Also, Tulsa Police say there is not enough evidence for charges to be filed in the attempted abduction of two girls at a lemonade stand in March of 2014. They say this is possibly the same person and the investigation is still ongoing. Officials do anticipate charges soon.

The suspect was arrested on July 29 on federal charges and is being held in Tulsa County Jail.
