The heat and humidity will continue to build across the area over the next few days. Expect partly cloudy and hot conditions today, with just a slight chance of a few showers or a rumble or thunder making its way over in our area overnight. By Thursday morning, there is a chance a few of us could still see a stray shower or non-severe storm, but that's it. After that, we clear out, dry up, and approach the mid-90's for highs over the weekend and into next week.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy and hot. Winds: SE 5-15 mph. High: 90.

Tonight: A few overnight showers or a storm, then partly cloudy and warm. Winds: SE 5-10 mph. Low: 72.
