Oklahoma House seeking public input on plans for congressional redistricting

TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — Every 10 years, Oklahoma state legislature redraws district boundaries to reflect changes in population.

This happens by law, immediately following the decennial census; when the U.S. records where each person in the country lives.

The redistricting will be based on the latest census data for Oklahoma.

The House of Representatives is seeking the public's input on the plans for congressional redistricting, so they're holding numerous town hall meetings across the state.

Representatives said town hall meetings are open for anyone to attend, but that they're not the only opportunity to voice your opinion.
